main achievements:
synthesis of well-defined poly(styrene)s by living cationic polymerization using AlCl3-based initiating systems;
design of the new initiating systems for aqueous suspension and emulsion cationic polymerization of styrene, p-methoxystyrene, p-hydroxystyrene and cyclopentadiene;
synthesis of “highly reactive” polyisobutylene via cationic polymerization using a modified AlCl3-based initiating system;
creation of new catalysts for syndiospecific styrene polymerization and ring-opening polymerization of cyclic esters based on titanium complexes of dialkanolamine ligands
Developments:
technology of petroleum polymeric resins preparation by a catalytic method;
wasteless technology of petroleum polymerizate preparation by a catalytic method.
